Aun_Ahalnnah (#Aid_Our people) Campaign

Out of national responsibility to support various segments of our society in difficult times, Together launched #Aun_Ahalnnah (#Aid_Our people) humanitarian campaign to help many Iraqi families who lost their daily income due to the Breakout of the new Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic and curfew imposed. The campaign teams visited poorer areas in our capitol Baghdad to deliver food baskets, facemasks and gloves as well as hand sanitizers and  precautionary hygiene instructions.

Objective of the campaign

Providing charity for the Relief of families affected by the Corona virus pandemic.

Type of charity

Food baskets of many items\per bag, hand sanitizers, facemasks and gloves & precautionary COVID-19 hygiene instructions.

Distribution process

Food baskets and medical supplies delivered directly to the beneficiary's resident.

The targeted segment

Poor and indigent families in rural areas of Baghdad and its outskirts.

Together for Humanitarian Relief and Development initiated Hayatijch Campaign in October in commemoration with the international Breast Cancer Awareness month (Pink October) to raise awareness and educating the general public about Breast Cancer and early detection to increase chances of survival and ways to lower the risk of developing Breast Cancer. The campaign launched in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment, Iraqi Oncology Board, Crescent Petroleum Company, AstraZeneca PH. Company and Farah Foundation. Moreover, Together launched a successful interactive event inside the Ministry of Health where the Minister of Health\chairman of IOB Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi personally participated In addition to wide media coverage by the Media and Public Relations Department and other states channels and cooperation of other medical and technical personnel of MOH.

Hayatijch Campaign activities and events

Social Media: posting daily campaign advertisements on various social media outlets as well as the organization’s official sites featuring public figures to widen outreach. Publishing Important information about Breast Cancer, recommended screening methods and names\addresses of clinics that conduct medical examinations to help detect Cancer in early stages.

Electronic Billboards: airing Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign advertisements on the mainstream electronic billboards in Baghdad to widen outreach to the public.

Interactive Direct Communication with the public: launching awareness campaigns in places of public interests including malls and commercial centers over Baghdad. Placing kiosks and distributing leaflets explaining information about the Cancer, ways of early detection, symptoms, and risk factors. As well as handing out Questionnaires to the public to highlight their level of risk to develop Breast cancer.
